"Stay alive" might be the most exciting goal Molly has ever written on her to-do list. Unfortunately, it's proving hard to achieve.

It's Christmas Eve, Molly hasn't accomplished any of her goals for the holidays, and she's starting to feel stressy. But her life gets even more complicated when Cortez Headquarters (and Cortez himself) issues a slew of impossible-to-refuse requests, her sister pleads for help with wedding plans, and Sean ropes her into a secretive mission of mercy.

As CEO of Masterson Design, Aaron has honed his skills at navigating challenging situations. He's determined to protect Molly, come what may. But being a bodyguard is difficult when the body you are guarding triggers all the worst elements of town, ends up as the main event at the Christmas Festival, and engages in dangerous tromps through swamps in the dark of night.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas won't be the relaxing holiday Molly so desires. But God has a perfect plan for her, and learning to rest on Him may bring blessings Molly never would have expected.
